Over 2019, SEED in collaboration with local partners conducted policy discussions to share experiences and create policy solutions that can facilitate the growth of eco-inclusive enterprises in Malawi.
The meeting was part of the SEED Practitioner Labs for Policy Prototyping programme which seek to facilitate collaboration between policy-makers, financial institutions, sector experts and eco-inclusive enterprises to develop policy prototype policy instruments that promote and improve the success of eco-inclusive entrepreneurship.
One of the key outcomes of the meeting is a policy brief highlighting interesting insights, propositions and major policy gaps which if realigned can put Malawi on a positive trajectory in the attainment of key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using the existing development blueprints such as the Malawi Growth and Development Strategy III.
